Somerset Christian School (SCS) is a non-denominational Christian school providing a quality academic program instructing the whole child - physically, mentally and spiritually.

Somerset Christian school is now offering traditional classes or all students, Pre-Kindergarten through twelfth grade. All teachers are state certified and confess Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. Extra curricular  activities include Elementary, Middle and High School Basketball, Cheerleading, EchoVenture, Scrabble Team, Spanish Club and Yearbook.

Pre-Kindergarten

FEE STRUCTURE AND INFORMATION

Somerset Christian School (SCS) offers three day, four day, or five day Pre-Kindergarten programs from 8:00 am to 11:30 am for children who are four (or five) years old and potty-trained.


Five-Day Programs - $3000 or $300/month for 10 months

Four-Day Programs - $2500 or $250/month for 10 months

Three-Day Programs - $2000 or $200/month for 10 months


Enrollment Fee - $35/student (one-time fee)


***If your child needs daycare for the afternoons, the rate is an additional $12.00/day or $5.00/hour, whichever is less.


Discounts: The first months' tuition is due August 1, 2016. If you choose to pay your full tuition in advance, you will receive the following discounts:

Paid in Full by June 30 - 4% off

Paid in Full by July 31 - 3% off


Financial Aid: The School Board intends that no family committed to Christian education be denied that opportunity because of financial need. If you need financial assistance, Please see Mrs. Harshbarger, Administrator.


Tuition & Attendance: Tuition is due the first Monday of the month, starting August 2016. If payment is not received by the 10th, a $25 late fee is assessed. If your child is in the three-day program, s/he may come in an extra day to make up for a day they are absent. Arrangements need to be made in advance and will only be permitted if there is availability. There is no daily rate for Pre-Kindergarten; if you miss a day, your tuition will not be adjusted.


Parent Hours: Pre-K parents are required to complete 10 parent hours per school year. These parent hours help provide staffing at fundraising events, which in turn helps to offset the costs that tuition does not cover.

Scholarships: Scholarships are available once a year through the Tax Credit Scholarship program, which is funded via Earned Income Tax Credits and paid by participating businesses and the WPA K-12 Education Scholarship Fund. Deadline to apply for the scholarship is May 31.
